A Snow Day in Texas
We are enjoying a rare snow day in Texas– everyone is freaking out! For context, below is a photo of this day last year in Germany:
I wonder which was more enjoyable…;p

I remember walking through this park in October. I can’t believe the difference. And how beautiful each season is in its own way.
Hello my friends, how are you on this winters day? My friend Mele is visiting me from California, and boy did Europe have some crazy weather in store for her! We trained down to Interlaken, Switzerland for two days to experience the snow in all its Alpine glory. From Interlaken, we took the little train up through the valley to Lauderbrunnen, the most picturesque valley you ever did see. In fact, this place inspired J.R.R. Tolkien for much of Middle Earth. I can see why. It felt like we’d wandered into a new realm. I was waiting for the White Queen to show up on her sleigh with Turkish Delight…oh wait, wrong book reference ;p Below are a few photos if you’d like to see!
Almost needed a grave stone myself from being frozen!
Can you say perfeeeeeeeect?!
It was almost hard to take a bad picture. Everywhere you looked– boom, beauty!
A Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night…;p
Love this girl so much and her adventurous spirit that is down for anything! Have a good one friends.
I woke up to fresh snow the other day, and it was mesmerizing. I could not pull my gaze away from the window the entire day. Then I wandered out into this winter wonderland and stumbled here and there in an amazed stupor. The only thing that broke me from my trance was the fact that I could no longer feel any of my body parts, and decided it was perhaps best to wander back inside and warm my extremities. But, to be honest, it was so beautiful that it almost justifies loosing a leg or two. Almost.
I am from California, folks. We don’t have snow like this in LA. I know it will get old by January or February, but not today. Today it is some kind of magic.
