I am a known plant killer. Exactly none of my thumbs are green. But Germans are notoriously great gardeners who love to spend hours upon hours tenderly caring for their plants. My internship supervisor has a garden plot in a community garden area here in Frankfurt and it  is just gorgeous. She always invites people from the church to come help work in the garden if they like or just kick back and relax!
