Five Fun Links

IMG_2084.JPGI’ve been busy scouring the internet as usual this week, and came across five fun links from all corners. The internet is just so dang good sometimes, don’t you agree?

This “16 Personalities” online quiz is a shorter, more concise version of the Myers Briggs personality test. I got the Advocate personality type: “Advocates tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all.” I think it’s pretty accurate. This quiz only takes about 12 minutes and is free!

A funny article from The New Yorker entitled ‘My fake excuses for flaking on plans dramatized as movie synopses.” Sometimes you just gotta get out of plans at all costs haha!

Are you a fan of The Onion? If so, you might enjoy the website The Babylon Bee. It also creates satirical news headlines about the Christian community. As a Christian, I love to laugh at myself sometimes!

Parabo Press turns your phone photos into tasteful art prints with a border on nice white matte paper. I just ordered 25 prints for eight dollars with a first time users discount!

This short film “Stutterer” from the New Yorker left me speechless (no pun intended). It is about a British man who stutters as he prepares for a first date. I was deeply touched– it’s more than worth 13 minutes of your time!

Happy Weekend

You know what I thought I’d try today? A round up of my favorite links from around the web! Is it just me, or has the internet been particularly good lately? Below is a list of a few of my top finds this week.

In other news, life has been pretty good lately. I went to a friends 1920’s themed birthday party on Tuesday dressed as a flapper (pictured above). I looked pretty dapper, if I do say so myself! I also had a big work event this week which went off without a hitch *insert big sigh of relief here*. Tonight is the Pepperdine Film Festival ReelStories, where they show student made films on a variety of topic. My little brother is coming and I can’t wait!

Happy Weekend and Happy Two Year Blogiversary Passports and Paintbrushes!

IMG_8721.JPGYesterday marked my two year anniversary of blogging. And yes, blogiversary is a real word now! Wow how time flies when you’re documenting it online :p This little space of mine has come to mean more to me than words can express. It has followed me to England, Germany, America and beyond, preserving my precious memories in words and photos. It’s my place to reflect, dream, and express myself. It has become my greatest creative outlet and sustained me through hard times. It pushes me to live a more adventurous life. It has allowed me to share my life with family and friends and readers who’ve joined along the way. I’ve published over 300 posts, each sharpening my writing skills and fine-tuning my voice that much more. I feel honored to be a part of the blogging community and don’t plan on going anywhere soon. I’m officially addicted to blogging, for better or for worse! Happy blogiversary Passports and Paintbrushes, may year three be as sweet as the last two.

Below are links to a few of my favorite posts from the last last two years for your reading pleasure! Happy weekend friends.
