Bad Dürkheim

chloeIMG_8936IMG_8948IMG_8954LaurenjpgRachelSwings      Hey friends! I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately, but I’ve been so busy. Classes started last week and I was reminded that I’m still a student, even though I’m in Germany. Needless to say, I am hulled up in my room today doing homework that should have been done a while ago. This blog post is a much deserved and much needed distraction! I want to tell you about my day trip to the Bad Dürkheim Wine and Sausage Festival yesterday. It is the largest festival of its kind in the world. There were fair rides, food stalls and trinket vendors selling the cutest crafts. I ate fried potato pancakes, a chocolate dipped banana, a glass of wine, and hot chocolate. Yum! Good thing I walk everywhere. Above are a few pictures of my friends and the festival grounds. I hope you enjoy and feel free to leave comments, I’d love to respond!

  1. Hopefully you rode the “crazy spinning ride” before you ate the chocolate covered bananas! (Yes, I just posted that – sorry!)
