Yesterday I explored Covent Garden market. It is a mixture of shops, stalls, and restaurants selling anything from clothing to antiques. There were even street performers singing opera, doing stand up comedy, and dancing with hula hoops. It was a bit crowded, but that only added to the energetic environment! My budget took a hit, I have to admit, because there were so many cool things for sale everywhere I turned! I guess that’s a good problem to have. Today I’m headed to HighClere Castle, where they film Downton Abbey, to see how the Upper Crust lived! I’ll be sure to take loads of pictures for all you fans out there (I’m talking to you Mom 🙂 ).
Covent Garden sounds like my kind of place! Have fun at Downton Abbey! Would love to visit the castle myself!
Hey Van! Thanks so much for checking out my blog. I was perusing your blog and noticed you are german. I will be studying in Heidelberg, Germany all of next year 🙂 I’m so excited!
I love the pictures of the globes! So cool. Covent Garden is the best, such a great area of London to explore
It was so festive! I am headed to Camden Market on Saturday, which is similar 🙂
We didn’t go inside Covent Garden, it looks nice and your pictures are amazing! 🙂
The atmosphere inside was electric! So many fun shops, performers, and food. My favorite was definitely the food 🙂
