St. Paul’s and Other Shenanigans

IMG_7214 IMG_7255“Early each day to the steps of St. Paul’s, the little old bird woman comes…feed the birds!” -Mary Poppins! There were no birds out today, or else I would have haha.IMG_7230IMG_7233

Today started off with a simple goal- attend Sunday service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Seems easy enough, right? Somehow, though, we ended up lost in the underground for over an hour! Oh traveling, how you frustrate me sometimes! By the time we found the cathedral, the service was over. Luckily, there was another one at 3:15pm. So we decided to mill around the Tate Modern Art Museum, have a look in Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, and then some lunch- not a bad alternative! We headed back to St. Paul’s via the Millennium Bridge, which is featured in the sixth Harry Potter movie (If you don’t already know how big a fan I am, see my post below). The inside of the church was resplendent and well worth the wait. We managed to get home by a much easier, less confusing route. Thanks for the adventure, Sunday!
