Hey there friends! Yesterday my class went to Stone Henge and the small town of Salisbury. StoneHenge is about two hours bus ride from London through the countryside. It pops up out of nowhere- BOOM- there’s one of the seven wonders of the world! I was fascinated by all the theories surrounding its original purpose; no one really knows! Salisbury was a bit further, and we visited the gorgeous Salisbury Cathedral, which houses the Magna Carta. Thank you Medieval Barons for limiting the king’s power- you set the stage for our constitution (I’m a bit of a history nerd)! Today I visited the Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum, then wandered around Hyde Park for the better part of two hours taking shameless selfies and an exorbitant amount of flower pictures. Hope your Tuesday was wonderful!
